In 2015, while facing significant work pressure, the idea of starting a business came to me. However, I was unsure of what kind of business it would be. For two more long years, I juggled work stress while my mind kept searching for a business that could meet my family’s needs and provide something beneficial to many.

In 2017, inspired by the workers at the company where I worked—who often faced safety risks due to issues with their work boots—I decided to sell work boots at a swapmeet. Despite my efforts, the long hours, early mornings, late nights, and young children made it difficult to sustain. I spent more on gas and expenses than I earned.

In 2018, I started seeking better opportunities to sell my boots directly. I visited local businesses, construction sites, and handed out flyers and pamphlets. With just six pairs of boots, I began building my business, working tirelessly day and night.

As time passed, demand for my boots grew. I started receiving orders from both companies and individual customers, with the idea of delivering boots directly to them. By 2019, home deliveries became a key part of our business, especially through social media. As the demand increased, more family members joined the team, along with other collaborators who are still with us today.

One day, a regular client urgently needed cowboy boots. This sparked the idea of expanding our product line, which became a turning point for our business and helped shape what Solis Calzado Mexicano is today.

In early 2020, amid the global COVID-19 pandemic and economic collapse, we refused to give up. I shifted to an online shoe sales business to make it easier for customers to get their products without leaving their homes. This shift helped us survive during the challenging pandemic period.

As demand grew, we ran out of space at home and many of our clients traveled long distances to buy from us. Thanks to the continued support from customers who had been with us from the beginning, we were able to open a physical store. Today, we offer over 100 different styles of genuine leather products, meeting the diverse needs of our customers. Our home delivery services have grown, as has our website, which continues to expand in both products and clientele.
